Iris stepped into the dark pub. Lights dim, music loud she walked over to the counter and took a seat on a stool. Gesturing to the bar tender she looked around,
Not much of a crowd
She thought to herself. Impacient she hoped the bar tender would be over soon, she needed a drink after the days classes. Taking another glance around the place Iris looked for good-looking guys, not finding much she returned her attention to the counter and a coaster sitting near-by. She picked it up, put it back down, then picked it up again. She placed it on its side and spun it in a circle. Wish a guy would approch her. Giving up on the coaster she walked over to an empty pool table and racked up. Iris grabbed a stick, chalked it and broke the triangle of pool balls. She hoped a guy would come over.
Vince walked into the building and headed straigt for the bar and ordered vodka. He sipped it slowly as he scoped the room and saw a girl playing pool by herself. He abandoned his drink and approached the pool table. "Mind if I join you?" he asked slightly grinning.

Startled, Iris turned around. She brushed her hair behind her ear. Looking at the ground first her eyes slowly wandered up. He was cute.
Finally! She thought to herself.
No, not at all.
She said aloud and held out a hand.
Hi, I'm Iris.
She was confident with her voice, not nervous at all by this confrontaion with a complete stranger. She smiled broadly at this thought. He looked tough, but there was something about him, something she couldn't quite put a finger one, that told her otherwise.

He shook her hand. "I'm Vince. Nice to meet you." he released her hand, grabbed a pool stick and some chalk. He looked at her again and first noticed her eyes, they were a beautiful green. "So are you at Green Wood?" he asked, starting conversation.
"Yep." he stood the pool stick in front of him and he casually leaned on it. "I'm studying History." He watched her with the chalk. "You can go first."
She said. Iris walked around the table and set up the ball on the white dot. Placing the stick in her hands and aiming she broke, the balls scattered with clicks here and there, only one went in the left corner pocket. Solid.
So what kind of history are you studying?
She asked trying to keep up the conversation. She scanned the table looking for the next best shot.
OOC: Should we be posting more? Isn't it supposed to be like 2 paragraphs min. or something? Just wondering!
