An intro board.. What else can I really say about it? No one has to post, really, its just a nice thing to do to get to know each other, and somebody had to make it. I'll start...
Well, I'm Leo around here, the cool guy. But, you probly don't really need to know about him, seeing as theres a big dirty profile written up for him..
I'm Dan Hope, 19 years old, and have been RolePlaying for as long as I can remember, a good 9 years, I'd say. I've done all types of RP, from animalistic, to fantasy, to real-life and historical, but I'm mostly into Fantasy. I've created enough sites to keep me interested, and have been making my own generally-succesful RP forums ever since I began (I started RPing on my own forum with a friend, so..) But, not so long ago, I ran into a wall in my personal life, and stopped making my own. Now, I just hop around from site to site, following random links, and having a few laughs along the way.
I live in the UK, a very indistinct and invisible overgrown OAP community known only as Wordsley, to which I hate. I'm jobless, but have enough qualifications to become Prime Minister (which isnt saying much..) I have a dry sense of humour, and will laugh at anything, especially me. I can be extremely sarcastic most of the time, and lie too much to be comfortable with, but cant stop. Generally pessimistic towards myself and optimistic towards others, I love Heavy Metal Music (all types) and cant stand Dance/Pop/Pop-Rock. I would rather kill myself than listen to that sh*t.. Oh, coming from my area, I also find myself swearing uncontrollably...
Anything else? My favourite colour is Purple, followed by Red, and I love Chicken , and will probably be on from 10am to 3am weekdays (UK time), and from 5pm onwards. Weekends I'll rarely be on, since thats the only time I have a life. And I'm an insomniac, so sleep is a memory I long to have return to me...

I think you and me will get along find, dan. Lol. I live on a chicken farm (what are the chances of that?) in a small community lining the rainforest on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. I like rock and metal such as ACDC, Mötley Crüe, and I admittingly endulge in a little honkey-tonk such as Lynrd Skynrd. Most of my time is spent work at the Vet Clinic doing the crappy job of Kennal Assistant, and I plan to join the Army in a month or two. I'm a B/A student, excelling in History and Law. I'm also a nature photographer, horseback rider, and a decent shot at trap. I'm a policital buff, and roughly speak a little German and French. As for my RPing history, I've done pretty well. I founded RPGs such as NightSkyEquines (which is successful, but I abandonded because it was overrun with 14 year old newbs) and I currently run CanineControversy, which I can proudly say is nearing 500 members. Im actually an advanced RPer (500-1500 words per post) but this site I created for a little more relaxed RPing. Ive been doign this since I was.... 12, and im now 17. My favorite color is green, I support the Green Party, I'm largly communist, I've participated in several protests against local governments for things such as overlogging and construction. I'm currently re-building a Jeep CJ to take for some serious wheeling in the bush (She's running less like a ww2 airplane now.. after I fix that exhaust leak, she'll purr like a kitten )

Woah.. it appears that, for the first time in.. just about forever, in my experience, I am the only Male here.. Well, in physical form, at least.. What made you want to play a male Character, Devin?
In all honesty, most of the sites I've been on have had an extremely low percentage of female RolePlayers, and most of them I do know are very toy-boy-ish, some are much more manly than most of the men I know, which is.. disturbing, at best. Although I dont like to stereotype, most of the sites I've been on are more manly; you know, war, violence, swords, guns, explosions, blood, gore, etc etc...
So, female RPers are a new breed to me.. *stated very matter-of-factly. Takes a pen and paper, and begins jotting down notes and observations*

the reason I play a male is purely for the sake of the RPG. At the beginning of RPG's, there are usually (in my experiance) more female characters/members than males. So, to even it out, I play a male charri for the first while. Really? Male oriented rpgs? I havent done much for Fighting RPGs (though I owned a martial arts one that only reach 30-40 members..) so I suppose the reason I see alot more female RPers is because I don't really play war RPGs. (I don't suggest trying alot of female oriented rpgs.. I try not to generalize, but most of the chicks are emotional and really hard to deal with) I have to admit I'm a bit of a tom-boy (farming does that to you) but im certainly no man. If you check out my other site ( click) you'll see what I mean by all-girl. I don't suggestion joining unless your up for a pussy-fest. Actually, I recently made a rule there that its possible for a character to kill another character if they have 2X the stats and are twice as good an RPer. Wussies got worked up into such a fuss that I'm taking a week off so I don't have to listen to them, lol.

Lol, that bad huh. I guess everyone needs a break, especially when dealing with overly emotional ladies. Seems like we've had two entirely opposite role-play experiences, but both happen to be taking time off from the normal group (overly-emotion females are bad, but overly-emotion males holding grudges for the death of past characters/insults/whatever? God damn they get annoying >_<) Hmm.. I've never tried playing a female character on one of my usual sites.. The few I've seen on there usually get massed by men trying to chat them up, which can be very pathetic (yet entirely hilarious). It might just be me, but I'd rather not get chatted up by a group of adolescent males who seem to think they're the gods gift to RP... At a first glance, Cairoco City has a sweet skin, I'll say that.. Might have a look around

Yeah, C.C is pretty good. The nice thing about it is I've created it into a well-oiled machine. I can miss a few days and nothing totally chaotic will have happened (plus I have an activity tracker to give me graphs and pie charts on activity so I don't have to worry)
Uh, wow. Thats pretty immature (seeing as the whole point behind war rpgs is.. well, war) if you want a kick, go to a boarding school RPG like k-j.. all women. Just make a male character - you'll get 10 pms a day asking to rp, lol.
I usually RP women, but the problem is they all turn out like me (despite my greatest efforts not to)- but when I RP men, I can make them whatever I want.
I gotta fix this shitty background- the color goes, but the text is fuckered. Any suggestions?

The people I usually RP with, I never expected them to be mature in the first place.. I know them too well for that. Theres a select few of us who could actually RP well enough to be considered Gods by them, and then there were the other 80 percent, too immature, childish and unoriginal to ever be considered good. We let them fight among themselves, while we few performed most of the bigger, more important events.. It worked out well; they thought they were adding something to the story, they got to have some fun, and do generally as they pleased, where we lot got to laugh at them, have some worthwhile RP, and make progress... Shame their random spamming eventually destroyed any site...
Well, I've played some pretty twisted people.. I sure hope none of them are like me.. K-J boarding school? I've heard of that. Infact, I think I have an account on there, of which I've never posted with.. or activated...
Fuckered! I thought only I used that word! Backgrounds have never been my strong point, sorry. If I see anything nice on my travels, then I'll pass it on your way. I'll look through my folders too, theres seems to be a mass of stuff in there that I cant even remember downloading...

K-J is so successful, it doesnt advertise anymore. I don't like it- I did the same thing as you. I had an account, but barely used it. Everyone there is so terrible at rping its painful (and their layout blows). I suppose success can be measure in quality instead of quantity though- in that case, their rpg bombed. Its weird.. some people even talk in Old(e) English there... dont you love it when people use old(e) english incorrectly? I pretty well stopped rping anywhere that I don't own.. I can't seem to find any RPGs that arnt over-run with newbs... and the really advanced ones have people that take forever to reply because they need several days to write their posts.
The wonderful thing about spamming; you can exploit it. What I do is hire a few people to watch out for spamming in boards other than the advertising board (its easy, most members are powerhungry anyhow) Secondly, Iencourage people to advertise on my advertising board.... as long as they post my banner on their site. That way, my banner ends up absolutely everywhere.. beat the system:)
hah, yeah, Ive got a library of files of photos.. none of which I use.

Olak, seriosly, If you get get, say, 30 members This site would be awesome..er Because with the expiriances i've had, The first 10 or so members Are usually snobby, actually, on River Ridge there is a whole deal going on...spreading to other sites. But the people here [From my small expiriance here..lol] Seem nice. Just have a zero tolerance For that and it will go places. [/center]

Lol, I don't know.. All of my RPGs are from the RPGC, and if you've played ones advertised on theirs, you've probably played with me..
