Dunyain threw his duffle bag down onto the floor; he had been walking all day, and hadnt gotten anywhere closer to wherever the University happened to be; he was near boiling point. With a swift kick from his black steel-toe-capped boots, the duffel bag rolled flew across the ground, colliding into the metal side of a bench, and coming to a stop. He was frowning immensely as he began walking towards the bag, his temper already beginning to fray..
"God damn it, how big can this place be?! And where in Gods name is everyone?!" he called, glancing around. Nobody was even within sight to ask for directions. He slumped onto the bench, not caring about the bag anywhere, and slipped out a packet of cigarettes from his pocket, aswell as his silver lighter; 'All My Devotion Betrayed.. I Am No Longer Afraid...' was carved onto the one side, with a sharp-fanged smiling face on the other, the sign for the band Disturbed. He slid a cigarette between his lips, and lit up, tossing the now-empty pack onto the floor beside him. He had a few more packs in his pocket, so he had came prepared. Now, though, he just sat there, flicking the lid of his silver lighter open, then shutting it again.
He took a deep drag of the cigarette with his other hand, then combed a stray strand of white hair from over his eye; he had a mass of hair dangling over his right eye, hiding behind it a scar he didnt like being seen, but if anything fell in the way of his left eye, it would immediately be intercepted; being his only good eye and all. He glanced around again, seeing nobody, then sighed and sat back, staring up at the sky...

The immense sky was painted a deep, sky blue. The few clouds were astray, far from closing and shielding the sun. The trees dotted the area of the park, and on one of them, sat Cadet. She had been there, for quite a while, jotting down ideas in her notebook. She was beginning to hum quietly to herself.
She was writing, all afternoon. For once, it was peaceful, something you couldn't find around Cadet everyday. She loved it, the light breeze, the quiet.. No one was actually there to bully her or torment her or anything. It was like heaven on earth. Too bad it didn't last anymore.
Her head jerked up at someone speaking. And, down below her, sure enough, there stood a boy. Well well.. Frustrated at his duffel bag? She raised her brows, silent as she observed him. She ahd no idea what in the world he was talking about. She his last comment made her speak up.
Straightening up from leaning against the tall trunk, she dangled her feet from the sturdy branch. She gazed down at him with cat-like eyes. She looked him, up and down. She twisted her body, snatching her noteboook and pencil and nestling it in a bed of twings and leaves she found. She looked back down at him.
"Obviously not here," she said to him. She pushed theself off the branch. As she felt herself sliding down, she reached back for her notebook and pencil, and slid down. She let go of them, letting them plop to the grass.

Dunyain heard a voice, yet couldnt place it; he glanced around, and upon seeing nobody, thought perhaps he was hearing things. He looked at the cigarette oddly. "This must be some strong shi-" He was interrupted with another sound, this one making him jump to his feet; just in time to see a young woman fall from the tree. Well, not fall, more slide down the tree trunk, together with a notebook and pencil, which obviously didnt land with as much grace as she had. He gave her the what-the-hells-going-on look he gave most people; a raised left eyebrow, head tilted to the side, mouth fully closed in a suprised and somewhat confused expression of bewilderment. He looked again at the cigarette, and tossed it onto the ground, stamping it out.
"Either someone snuck something in that cigarette of mine, and I'm as high as a kite, or you just fell from that tree.." Seeing the notepad land much closer to him than it did her, he took a few steps forward, reaching down and plucking it from the ground, using the opportunity to steal an upwards glance at the newcomer; her peach skin tone looked radiant in the sky, much energetic than his dull tan, and her dark blonde hair and blue eyes seemed somewhat magnetic. If the situation was anyhow different, he would of let off a loud and confident wolf-whistle, but for the moment, he decided to hold in the urge to ogle.
"You like sitting up in trees and jumping out on perfect strangers or something? 'Cus I sure don't.." he added as he straightened up, notepad in hand. He was tempted to leaf through it, get a cursory glance, but resisted, and held it out infront of him; for her to take back.

A small, mischievous smirk was planted on her face. Cadet bent over, taking her pencil and tugging at a knot in her dark blonde hair. She slid the pencil into her jean pockets. She watched him, whoever he happened to be He had white hair, and seemed pretty thin. His left eye was a sort of grey. The right eye had been covered with his hair, shielding it.
She leaned against the tree she had fallen from, just mere moments ago. She watched him reaching for her notepad. She could almost see the 'longing' he had. So, he wanted to look in it? She remembered. Mom always wanted to do that too.. She mentally kicked herself. Thinking about her mother.. God damn it, that was the reason she asked to go to the University in the first place; she wanted to travel far, far away from it all.
Firstly, she listened to his first comment; after he said the one before she leapt from her writing spot. High as a kite? Possibility. She glanced up at the sky for a moment, before returning her attention to him. She kicked at the dirt. "Nope, I just fell from the tree," she said simply.
She listened again. Sitting up in trees? Yes, she liked doing that. She was perfectly fine with that. But, scaring strangers. No, that wasn't something she'd do. At least, not on purpose. "Nawh, I don't scare strangers. Besides, I've only ever done it this once," she said. She reached out and took her notebook.

He flashed her a slight grin; her mischeivous smirk reminded him somewhat of his past days, giving people the exact same smirk whenever he did something, so many years ago. With that smile, he could of gotten away with anything. So much had changed. He took a new packet of cigarettes from his pocket, now regretting wasting the last from the other pack, and began to unwrap the seal.
"You from around these parts? I'm looking for GreenWood University. Been walking round for hours on end, and if I have to spend another hour looking at grass, I might end up hurting somebody.." He let out a slight sigh; he may not of been 100% telling the truth about that, and was often reluctant to ever really hurt anybody; but his general apperance suggested otherwise. He flipped out one of the cigarettes, popping into his mouth, and offered the pack to Cadet Marshel.
"Cigarette? So, you know where this place is? 'Cus I havent got the slightest.." He slipped the pack back into his pocket, silver lighter still in hand, nd lit up the cigarette, offering now the lighter to her.

So, he w as attending GreenWood too. She sat cross-legged on the grass. She ripped a blade of grass from the ground and fiddled around with it. She held one end and shredded it to little, thin strips. A light breeze ruffled her hair and she sighed, taking a deep breath. She smelt the smoke from a cigarette.
She looked up, spotting his grin. She looked around, as though thinking he was grinning at someone else. "What?" she said, slight confusion showing in her face. She took the pack and cigarettes and handed it back to him. She lit it and put it to her mouth. She looked at Dunyain.
"I'm not from around here." She chuckled at his comment. She hadn't even bothered to look for the University yet. She hadn't felt like it. She knew she would want to just sit around and enjoy the peace before she looked for it. She moved the hair from her eyes. She shook her head, looking up and down the park's pathway. Nope. I haven't even tried yet." She shrugged. Maybe she was just being lazy.

Taking a deep drag from the cigarette, he removed it from his mouth, holding it in his right hand, yet letting his hand dangle down to the side of his body, careful to keep the cigarette away from his clothes. Slowly striding past Marshel, he turned, and fell back against the tree, leaning his back against it, aswell as the sole of his right foot, his knee bent out infront of him. With an exhale, a circle of smoke blew from his lips into the air, followed by another, then another.
"Fair enough.. I suppose I could stay here a little longer. Not like I'd be doing much at that place anyway. Being fucked around by some know-it-all secretary, a teacher whoses boots are bigger than their feet.." He laughed slightly, before taking anothr deep drag. As he spoke, clouds of smoke flowed between his lips.
"Ya'know, it took me 5 hours to drive here.. Five fucking hours on the road, and as soon as I arrive, I get lost in some overgrown garden. Whoever built this place thought jack-shit of the people going through it.." He turned his head up to the sky, glancing at the soft-white clouds in the sky, the sun dancing between them, casting occassional shadows on the mostly-Sunny field. The breeze that fell over the over was warm, and together with the Sun out, Dunyain felt much better resting under the shade of a tree. Whether he relished the company was yet to be seen.
"Ahh well, at least the weathers good for it..."
