Name:May Helena Tyler
Age: 20
Sex: Female
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 116 lbs
Appearance:
May has a bright, attractive appearance, only dulled by her obvious lack of interest of life. She has a light build, which makes up for her rather short height. May has a rounder face than most, only accented by her soft blonde hair. She has dark blue eyes, though clouded most of the time with mahogany hued contact lenses.

Personality:
It's difficult to sum May up in one word, but if a stranger were to choose one after exchanging a few words with her, it would be sweet. On the outisde, she does seem sweet, with an intelligent look and a never faultering smile. Of course, being human, May is very social, and never passes up an opportunity to make friends. As a child, she was well-liked by a select few, and was on decent terms with everyone else. Her teachers described her as "A Happy Child, full of life and an eagerness to learn." And indeed she was. May excelled at most everything, save PE and Music.
However, it didn't take people very long to find out who she really was. Quick to anger, eager to judge and stereotype, and slow to forgive and forget on the whole to those she was familiar with. May did not hesitate to put-down others for her own benefit, nor to use them. Of course, she held a silent respect for those who were nastier than she was, but there were only a talented few. People still hung around, if not grudgingly, her personality hated yet somewhat interesting - like smoking, for lack of a better metaphor. And so, May is living her life unaware at the fact that she is an uppity bee-yoch, and will most likely remain so - until she is alerted otherwise.
As for ambitions, fears and dreams, May has many. They changed and took many forms since 2nd grade for her, but has been directed toward one road - journalism. She longed to write and show others her ideas, somehow prove to them that she was right and they were ignorant. She longed to be travelling all over the world, writing stories and having everyone read them and understand her ideas. In 9th grade, when she began to work for the High School Newspaper, that dream became a reality - on a smaller scale. Somehow, being a high school newspaper journalist was exhilerating, and May continues to believe that working for a real newpaper would be even more fun, and more people would read her writing. You can say that's the fuel that keeps her ticking..
History:
Judging by her personality, May grew up in a world where she was respected, and she was often told ideas that weren't shared weren't worth anything. Her mother had passed away from cancer when she was five, and her father was a big-time lawyer, too busy to go to the doctor, much less pay attention to his kids. Her older brother amounted to nothing, and earned some extra money by trafficing (and doing) drugs.
May always excelled in school, being bright and ambitious. Everyone was surprised when she received "Journalist" on her career test in eighth grade, but that only triggered a bright smile and a raised eyebrow from the girl herself. Once she graduated from high school, May's father instantly applied her at Green Wood, it being the university he went to himself. Where will her ambitions take her now?
