Morgaine sat at the back of the class gazing at the teaher trying to look as if she was listening, which she actually was really trying, although the more she tried the more she find it hard to concentrate. She'd always been bad at maths, but she knew she needed the subject. Even though she loved her e-guitar and dreamed to follow the steps of her father and start a band she was also very fond of ecomomics and management and knew that to reach the top there you also needed maths. She remembered the highscool time when she'd go take extraclasses to pass the subject, she smirked slightly. It wasn't like she totally sucked, if someone explained it to her properly she would easely get an eight out of ten, but if she was left alone she easely endd up neglecting the subject or just giving up if she didn't understand imediately. She simply wasn't a matematician, she just had to learn the process and follow it step by step if she wanted to do things right, no fooling around about why a formula was in such and such a way and why it worked in this or that way, that was for the higher minds. You actually didn't even need the logic behind the calculation if you wanted to become a manager or such things, she was partly learning useless things, this bothered her more than the course itself. She blinked as she heared her name and looked at the teacher but the girl beside her imediately answered the question. Moira the name had been, not Morgaine. She sighted, she had again ended up not paying attention so much that she didn't even get what the teacher said. She simply couldn't avoid it, she frowned, it seemed like today her head was taking its own way, pity it was the wrong one. The teacher asked an other question and she imediately raised her hand, she knew the answer from last lesson, a lesson she'd been paying more attention in. The teacher smiled at her perfect response and went on explaining his formulas and logic processes. Morgaine exhaled, for this lesson she'd given her good impression, she would not be asked any forther question since the teacher now assumed she was listening. Which indeed she was now, or at least trying hard, her eyes were again fixed on the person talking to the class and her mind was, as much as she was able to, freed from useless disractions.

Seth was sat at the back, he could not stand sitting at the front as he was always picked on for the answers as he knew them so well. A night of drinking had defiantly not helped his cause for the crazy mathematics lesson this morning. Looking at formula's were okay it was just when it came to triangle formulas, cos, sin and the third one, which Seth could never remember, he thought to himself, ' A triangle's not a friendly shape ... it's a point, it has sharp edges ... triangles hurt people...' even though the area formula was not pointed this is all he could think about. The lecturer looked at him and if he knew a way to figure out the triangle on the board, 'Use a cos formula to figure out the area?' he said looking towards the lecturer who nodded.
Seth wanted to become part of his father's business and in order to do this he had to take maths, when he was going to have to work out formula's selling houses he never knew, maybe when they wanted the area of the house and it was a triangle. He smirked to himself about the staidness of what he had just thought. And returned to concentrating by taking notes and listening better to the lecturer.

sat in the back her head phones on as she scribbled down formulas on her notebook paper tapping her graping calculator. She hated math and was average at it but see needed the upper level maths for her naiamtion and film classes in order tog et her media arts degree. she finished the problems of triganles with baic triganomic factoring and looked up a the other struggling. she knew enough to get by and that all she wanted and needed. she tapped her pencil to the beat onh er text book as she flipped through the pages chekcing her work as the clock seemd to tick slower and slower. it was getting rediculous. she sighed as she began to doodle ein her amrgins

Seth looked toward the girl tapping her pencil when he was trying to consentrate, 'excuss me, do you mind.' he said seriously as he looked at her waiting for some form of responce, hopefully stopping from tapping. He looked back to the board, yeah Seth was a geek, but a cute one and when he wanted to consentrate he could do well with his sessions. He looked at the lecturer as he took a mini brain nap from all the 123.2233 numbers which were rotating in his brain.
He looked back to the paper and continued to answer the questions with ease. It took him so long because he took his time on the calculations make sure they were perfect and nothing was missing. Seth was the type that took all the hours in an exam to throughly check his work.

She stopped the tapping of her pen and looked up at the boy then back to her work back to doodiling in her margins. She double checked her work but soon when back to her doodles. She stared around the room and what the brainacs around her. Dylan was bright but didnt like to show it. Art caught her attention not math. Tho the one who shhhed her was cute she thought to herself. she watched the clock slowly tick as the seconds seemed to be hours. she was about to start tapping her pen again then stopped rembering it bothered some and she droppped it as it rolled by the boy.

Morgaine looked out of the window again, then realizing what she was doing, abruptly turned to the teacher again, her neck snapped loudly and painfully, she sighted and massaged it. She normally snapped her fingers, back, wrists, elbows, even neck, whatever she would, it was good against stress even if not good for the body, but when it came unexpectedly it tended to hurt. She looked down at the teacher in a new attempt of listening to his useless blathering but was distracted by some irritating noise, a tapping pencil, it was Dylan. Se was about to give some bitchy remark to make her stop but a guy sitting next to her was quicker. Morgaine turned and stated at the guy at her left, for being a guy he was pretty good at the bitchy tone, she turned away so that he could not see and grinned, then realizing again she was completely neglecting the lecturer. She cleared her throat, sat up straight and pulled herself together for the zillionth time, it seemed like even the smallest thing today was able to reduce her attention to the zero if not minus point. Her eyes for a few minutes were fixed on the teacher, narrowed, the pencil in her hand scribbling down notes nearly by itself. Then again, she heared a noise in front of her, Dylan had let her pencil fall, it now rolled right under the 'bitchy guy' 's desk. If she would not have known her better she would have believed this to be a stupid attempt to start a flirt, but Dylan was so not the type, that was more the chearleader procedure. Morgaine smirked as the image of Dylan as a chearleader appeared in her mind and at her flirting in that ridiculous, 'top fashion girl' way. A weird noise came out of Morgaine's mouth, it was a groan of utter despair which had automatically come out of her mouth as her mind had turned on again and which she now tried to disguise as a cough. She'd just realized that her mind had for the Xt time taken a route opposite to this maths lesson. She grashed her teeth and tightened the graps on her pen, trying with all her strenght not to think of anything else other than maths, under the table she crossed her fingers hoping she would be able to do so.

Dylan watched her pencil roll. she slumped inh er seat and let out a small sigh she began to dig through her larg bag she always caried for another. she pratically dove inside the bag as she rummaged around . she AH Ha she thouhgt finidng a mechanical pencil. she put down her bag and sat up. tryignt o pay attention to the boring drows of the professor. she found her attention peering outside the window as her imagination began to wonder
