Name: Leander Alexander
Aka: Leo
Age: 21
Sex: Male
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 174lbs
Appearance: Leo dresses much like you would expect someone like him to dres; calm, relaxed, and incredibly cool. He wears a loose red shirt, which is usually only half open, revealing a well-toned body, if on the slightly thin side, with long sleeves; the left cuff is buttoned up, the cuff-link being in the shape of a small dagger, the right cuff being left unbuttoned and open, without an actual cufflink for it. He sometimes wears a black vest beneath the shirt, but only if its very cold; he appears to be near impervious to temperature. His loose shirt is the opposite to his tight black jeans, tinted red, which reveal a slender yet capable body, to which he keeps toned and fit. Unusually, he wears black boots, laced up half-way between his ankle and his knee, the jeans tucked over the top, hiding the laces themselves.
He has hair that is a deep and entirely natural red hair, which would be considered scruffy and unkempt if it was anyone else, but he manages to pull off such a syle well enough to still look cool. His deep blue eyes are alluring, mysterious, and many women have fell victim to their charm alone. He near enough always has a smile on his face and a skip in his step, making him a pleasure to be around for anyone. Around his throat he wears a silver chain, with a set of dog-tags on them; a symbol is on each, with Fate on the one and Love on the other, the name Leo carved on the back of both. His left wrist bears a brown leather bracelet, his right one bearing a silver watch, which he takes off only to shower and sleep. In his pocket, you can always find a pencil, no matter where he is.
Personality: Leo, in many ways, is the typical cool guy. He has the looks, personality, style, and ability. He can make anybody laugh, if he wishes it so, and seems to pass on emotion in looks alone, summoning up feelings of just about anything, with a few words. Being extremely creative, he takes immense pleasure in such activities as acting, music, and his favourite subject, art. The teachers like him, as do many of the students. Ironically, he loves to be alone, to have the subtle silence of an empty room or park bench, to be able to draw in piece; he can sit and sketch for hours, with the right subject or target. While never admitting it, he is unbearably lonely, always looking out for someone to love, someone worthy to love; sadly, being popular and cool, the few people he has met have never been worthy of his love and admiration. He seeks someone quiet, calm, intelligent, and unphased by popularity, uncaring about social standards; unconditional love.
But sadly, despite this public and outgoing persona built up around him, he is nothing like anybody would think. People usually flock to him, yet spending all his time alone, he dislikes being in larger groups, finding it uncomfortable and incredibly awkward. He will always try to shy away from the group of people around him, maybe go to a park somewhere, a nice place to sketch and draw. If anybody is sitting alone, being an extremely empathetic person, he will usually go over to them, disregarding social groups and standings; his persistance can be annoying, as can his surface-optimism, but few complain; most find him pleasent enough to be around.
He is slow to judge, and always willing to have a laugh. His humour may be, at times, dry, but most people usually find themselves able to laugh it off with him if they feel insulted. He'll often pick up peoples main flaws quickly, either avoiding them to try and make friends, or picking at them constantly, just to see how that person reacts. He seems impossible to anger, and is extremely forgiving, despite never taking offence at anything. He will always pick out his own faults, disect his own life for a good laugh, often saying things he never means. He only lies when he finds it neccesary and essential, to protect someone he cares for.
His dreams are lackluster, in essence; all he asks for is a new pencil when his runs out, and enough paper to last him his lifetime, and he'll be satisfied. He would love to get married to the perfect woman of his, and would consider himself to be a fantastic father, loving children in a way few men do. He doesnt submit pictures to competitions or galleries often, no matter how good they are, for he prefers to remain annonymous, outside the circle of fame, despite being often in the center. He could live happily knowing the rest of the world was out there, aslong as his world was in here.
He seems almost like the perfect human being; but even he has problems. Deep inside, he has countless issues and emotional insecurities he finds it difficult to deal with. His parents never being around, love seems almost alien to him, and his almost-fear of being truly alone can be dehabilitating, although he hates to admit it. His stubborn nature, although closely protected, will refuse to admit fault, and he dislikes being in charge. Extremely indecisive, he lacks general motivation, and is unbelievably lacking in ambition, which many see as a flaw. Other problems lie beyond his surface, but his exterior façade is very tough to break.
History: All through life, Leo has glided through without problems. He is good at athletics, but prefers not to take part in such menial, and useless, activities. He is intellgient, although often refuses to use his full potential to save standing out in the crowd, and has little problems passing his exams. He seems like the typical rich kid; but is far from it. His parents have little money, and each of them work hard to maintain what they have; a good son, who will always help ones in need, and their small 3 bedroom house on the outskirts of town. Nothing has really stood-out in his life, except for his artwork.
He has always had a knack for drawing pictures. Ever since he first picked up that pencil, he has sketched down anything he found interesting, and he continues to do that now. Be it people, places, or events, he is naturally very talented with a pencil; and as such, rarely leaves the house without a pencil and a pad. He spends little time at home, enjoying the outside world much more; being free, in both spirit and cost. He has learnt the value of money, and never wastes a penny, and truly enjoys human contact, to an extent. He's never had siblings, and his parents were always out working, giving reason to his joy for being alone, but also to his general fear of utter loneliness. He's never fell in love, and has has only two girlfriends, neither lasting longer than 3 months.
People have always flocked to him; his natural optimism, his funny and very friendly and welcoming nature make all feel right at home near him. His voice carries a charismatic air to it, rallying people to him whenever he speaks, demanding attention no matter how quiet. He has took part in various acting schools through life, and is positively an extrovert, enjoying parties, carnivals and other social events as much as the next guy. He doesnt drink alcohol, and although it happens only once or twice a month, he does smoke; not enough to get addicted, but enough to give him a single rush if in need. Drugs have always been out of the question, a waste of money, and he has never desired a car, being indifferent towards transportation.
In many ways, the a-typical cool guy..
Pets: He has a single pet, to which he acquired not so long ago. A small ginger kitten with sparse grey eyes; Leo himself has no idea how old the kitten is, but found the small guy wondering around by himself in the street, collarless and alone. He took it in, even posted up signs to find the owner, to which he never heard from. He's had the kitten ever since, for about 5 months now, and has named the kitten Demian. He sometimes refers to the kitten as "number 2", seeing the small male cat as his number 2 man, second in charge, after him.
